Camp regulations / Arrangements

  • Camping is allowed in designated camping areas only. Each camping block is assigned a camp commander who can assist with queries.

The location is signposted with “Camp Commander” and Red LED lighting.

  • A designated disabled person’s camping block is available.
  • No camping sites may be reserved.
  • Urinals and temporary chemical toilets will be available. Bring your own toilet paper.
  • Limited showers will be available.
  • The vendor area, where basic takeaways can be purchased, is located near the stage.
  • Emergency Services and Medical staff will be on duty. An ambulance will be on standby.
  • Bring your own fresh drinking water or purchase bottled water from the vendor area.
  • Observe TOTAL silence from 11 pm to 5 am. Please respect and obey this rule.

Prohibited

  • No open fires in the camping area (including a Weber). ONLY gas cooking equipment may be used within the camping areas.
  • Open fires are only allowed in the communal braai area.
  • NO alcohol, NO drugs, NO weapons will be allowed on the premises.
  • NO motorbikes will be allowed other than for arrival and parking.
  • NO quad bikes.
  • NO drones.
  • NO vendors are allowed unless approved by MMC Margate.
  • NO parking in front of designated areas and gates.
  • NO ladies allowed on 5 and 6 September. Ladies and children are allowed for family service on 7 September.
